Quinton Ward’s practice investigates the navigation and experiences of African Americans by assembling materials that include Illustration, sculpture, and various other mediums.
His practice also identifies intersectional opportunities within art, design, and community. Utilizing his creative problem solving skills in nonprofit leadership, creating interventions for access to basic needs, assisting in equitable community development and engagement processes, and designing programming to make a positive, sustainable impact
Ward is has been recognized and received recognition and awards, including being named St. Louis Business Journal's 40 Under 40, The St. Louis American Salute to Young Leaders, Webster University Game Changer of the Year,
Next City Vanguard Fellow, United Nations Association of Saint Louis Mary T. Hall Honoree, MU Extension Leaders Honor Roll, and Design + Diversity Fellow.
He is also the Co-Creator and Host of Speak Up St. Louis is a podcast that elevates the community’s diverse voices and broadcasts the shared
stories, ideas, and creative contributions of our city’s cultural fabric.
Quinton Ward earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Webster University in Saint Louis
